MOTHERS DAY OUT
Mother's Day Out is closed for the remainder of the year due to the pandemic.
Our Mother’s Day Out program strives to support children and their caregivers by providing nurturing care in a stimulating, loving, and supervised environment.
Founded in 1977, Mother’s Day Out provides children with a wonderful, home-away-from-home socialization experience. Licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, it is recommended by the Children and Youth Services of Delaware County.

Open to all children aged 18 to 36 months, our program offers a variety of activities, including inside and outside play, music, stories, and art projects—all of which are closely supervised by our staff.
MDO offers care for a maximum of 20 children each day and follows a consistent routine that includes stories, free play, designated play areas for dress up, kitchen play, cars and trains, and so much more. We have a fenced-in outside play area for good weather days and inside bike and balls for bad weather days.

Sessions are held five days a week.
Children may attend any number of days a week, depending on availability. On Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursday, children stay for lunch in a peanut-aware environment. Children need not be potty trained.
Sessions are held from Wednesday after Labor Day and close at the end of May, with a limited summer program in June and July. MDO follows the Marple-Newtown School District calendar of vacation and holidays.
