SERVE AND GROW
ADULT FORMATION

“An intelligent mind acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.”
– Proverbs 18:15

The Christian Life is just that: a life. Episcopalians often describe the “slow burn” of our
faith—not a flash in the pan, but a perpetual flame that keeps our souls warm—and we believe that slow burn is sustained through regular study and formation together.

We also grow seasonally, with thematic studies in Advent and Lent. Lent is particularly fun, when we gather each Tuesday evening for supper and good, spirited conversation and growth.

INCLUDE US
IN YOUR WEEKLY ROUTINE
Bible Study

We do that through regular Bible study on Tuesday mornings at 6:30 am in the church office, where the conversation is fruitful and the coffee hot.

Wednesday Eucharist

Join us at 5:30 pm for a brief, intimate celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Then, move to the parish hall at 6 pm for yoga, often by candlelight.

Advent Series:
THE NATIVITY PRISMS

Join us on Sundays in Advent at 9am for a study of the Nativity stories in the Old Testament, and in the Gospels of Matthew, Luke, and John.  This brief discussion group meets between the 8 and 10 am masses, and it is a perfect way to center our hearts on the coming of the Christ Child.

There are ample opportunities to deepen your faith at St. Alban’s. As we grow, our programming evolves, and you can help us determine what we study next.
